Making Magoo

Today I spent the morning putting the finishing touches on Magoo - another one of the lovely Melly & Me Patterns.  

I actually made two monkeys - one for a friend's, sons first birthday and this one, for our new little baby which is due to arrive in about 8.5 weeks!  Check out his fancy 'up-side-down' patchwork shorts lol:

The pattern was easy enough to follow, but I am definitely no toy maker.  I find it frustrating that the sewing of the main toy is quite quick, but then the stitching of the details seems to take twice as long.
