Stitched Babushka Cushion

Last week I showed you a couple of snippets of things that I was working on.  One of the things was this:

I am pleased to be able to show you the finished thing - A stitched babushka cushion:

The design for the embroidery was created using the same image from the babushka brooch:

I particularly liked making this cushion because the strips of fabric were from my scrap box and I'm ALWAYS looking of ways to use up my scraps.
