I know I have been a little slack with the posts this week, but for good reason. I have been in hospital since Saturday and only got out last night! It was nothing *too* serious and both the baby and I are fine, but I am hoping not to have to spend any more time there for at least another 10 weeks or so!
Anyway, the hospital stay gave me PLENTY of time to do some bed ridden crafts, like the Queen Anne Lace scarf (or in my case, scarves - I made 4):
The grey and cream scarves were made using Moda Vera Mousse, which is a blend of 70% wool and 30% soya (the orange ones - I made 2 - are just a plain 100% wool). These scarves are so soft and squishy and I can't wait to wear one out and about.
Perhaps I will get the chance tomorrow when I go to the post office to send my brooch for the brooch swap to my partner:

Yup, that's right... thanks to your help, brooch number 3 is on it's way to the United States! I can't wait to receive my brooch in the mail.
Yep, that was my choice, too. Glad you and the bump are okay, Michelle. I'm impressed by your productivity!
ReplyDeleteYour scarves turned out great in Mousse - I'm pretty sure I have some chartreuse in the stash. Gorgeous brooch by the way. I'm quite partial to brooches - that's lovely.
