For as long as I can remember "Learn to Screen Print" has been on my list of things to do before I die, so I am really excited to be taking a class with Laura from Learn2ScreenPrint at the lovely Red Brick Gallery and Emporium this coming weekend!
I had been procrastinating a bit on the designs that I would be taking along with me to screen print but this morning I had a surge of inspiration, knuckled down and churned out the following two designs:
One will be printed on a card, the other on a tote bag. I am yet to decide which design will go on which item yet though.
As it was a day for getting on with things that I had been procrastinating about, I decided to also start work on the Elephant Cushion Kit I bought at the Daylesford Craft Experience a few months back:
Since it is to be a gift for my niece's 7th birthday (which is this coming Friday), I figured I really should get a wriggle on with it. I can't say that I'll be taking up needle turn applique as a regular activity any time soon though - I suck!
Love the designs - especially that robot, what a dude!
