On Friday we went for a drive to Matty's parents house to drop him off for the weekend so that he could go fishing with his dad and brother. Matty's parents have the best range of vintage toys ever, but one of Corben's favourite things to play with is the "Doctor's Set":

We always laugh when he puts on the Doctor glasses as they are ridiculously small. So small, they don't even loop over his ears! He still insists on wearing them though.
With just the kids and I home for the weekend I tried to do some fun things with them, like letting them snuggle in Mummy's "Big Bed" in the morning and cooking special things for breakfast.
Corben insisted that he wanted the same thing as Mummy for breakfast so we made an omelette with onion, capsicum, mini roma tomatoes and spinach leaves for him. I was sure I was going to end up eating it, but he surprised me and ate up the whole lot:

The kids have been so sooky of late I have found that I really need to find the time to sit down and create something....anything! So I made a Valentines Garland using a tutorial from the How About Orange blog:

I hung it up in the kitchen but the stupid thing kept falling down, so I ended up just laying it along our sideboard for decoration. I did have some success making banana icy poles though:

Tonight I started week 5 of the couch to 5km running program and I feel like I am finally finding my groove. I am so glad I didn't give up in week 3 like I thought I might!
Righteo. Off to bed for me now. Nighty night!
That is an AWESOME power breakfast - for both big people and little people. And it looks yum. T.
