An Apple Cozy

For the last two weeks I have been making an apple cozy... you know, to keep my apple nice and...well...cozy:

It has taken me two weeks to finish, because the previous four attempts turned out looking like this:

Kind of more like an apple blanket. Or an apple plate:


Apparently I suck at following some patterns. In the end I made up my own and it worked well enough:
